Honorable Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan during the event stated that city development plans are being prepared for all the 110 cities of the State. These cities would be developed as ideal ones. I will visit 14 municipal corporations for holding discussions on city development plans with public representatives, experts and intellectuals and would be Indore in this connection on August 13, he added.

Sironj Development plan aims to develop the town economically and environmentally. At the same time, the plan also takes care of the employment needs of our youth and the common man, thereby raising the standard of living of the people. It has also provision for education sector and for development of industries based on agriculture. The plan also includes measures for promotion of handicraft and towards protection and conservation of heritage sites in the district.
